Parents who marry after the birth of their child and they want the name of the father inserted into the register of birth
Requirements for re-registration upon legitimacy

Parents Identification documents

Birth Certificate without the father’s name

Marriage certificate/joint affidavit by both the parents (LO2)

Application for re-registration sworn jointly by the parents (LO1)
Fee
Re-registration of a birth: Kshs. 1,000.00 (Additional fee of Kshs 200 for issuance of a certificate)
