Parents who are not married but want the name of the father inserted in the register of birth of the child.
Requirements for re-registration upon recognition

Parents Identification documents

Birth Certificate without the father’s name

Application for re-registration consent form signed by parents before the registrar.

Physical presentation by both parents before the registrar
Fee
Re-registration of a birth: Kshs. 1,000.00 (Additional fee of Kshs 200 for issuance of a certificate)
